07 Apr Success at National Wheelchair Basketball Association National Championships
Music City Thunder finished up a great season with a trip to Richmond, VA for the National Wheelchair Basketball Association National Championship Tournament. The team had 3 wins and 2 losses, including 1 to the eventual tournament runner-up. We both came in and left as the 13th seed, and not dropping rankings at Nationals is quite the accomplishment with the best teams from around the country there, many of which are outside of our conference and teams we know little about. Best of all is that our athletes got to hang out with each other, hundreds of other youth wheelchair basketball players from around the country, AND some Paralympians also…besides our own Coach Emily, of course. We are so proud of what our team accomplished this season!
